When you request a quote, we collect the information you provide: your name, business name, email address, current website, budget, preferred package, the help you need and project details. We also receive information you send in later emails or project discussions.

The website hosting and form providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, request times and security or spam-filtering signals. Please provide only what is relevant to your enquiry and avoid sensitive information.

Optional form fields can be left blank. You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself, where practical, but we need sufficient contact and project information to respond with a useful quote.

3. How information is used

We use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements, prepare quotes, communicate about agreed services and keep relevant business records. Technical information helps deliver and protect the website and detect spam or misuse.

Submitting the quote form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. Sitesides does not sell enquiry information. We may also use or disclose information where required or authorised by law.

4. Service providers and overseas processing

This website uses Netlify for hosting and Netlify Forms for enquiry processing. Form submissions are handled by Netlify and its relevant hosting, infrastructure and spam-filtering providers. When email notifications are enabled, enquiry details are also sent to the Sitesides business mailbox and processed by the email providers involved.

These providers may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States. Other locations depend on the provider and service configuration. You can contact us for more information about the providers used for your enquiry.

5. Cookies and tracking

The supplied Sitesides website does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts or cookies. It does not save your enquiry in browser local storage. Hosting providers may still process technical request information for delivery, reliability and security.

Other websites reached through links have their own privacy and cookie practices.

6. Storage, security and retention

Enquiries may be held in the Netlify Forms dashboard, the business email system and relevant project records. We take reasonable steps to protect the information, including limiting access to people who need it to handle the enquiry or provide the agreed services. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services and meet record-keeping or legal obligations. We delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed where practical and lawful. Copies held in provider backups may remain until those backups expire under the provider’s processes.

7. Access, correction and privacy requests

Email contact@sitesides.com if you want to access or correct information you have supplied, ask for deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records.

We will consider your request and explain any lawful reason information must be retained or cannot be provided. If you have a complaint, please describe what happened and the outcome you are seeking. We will review it and respond within a reasonable time.

If the Australian Privacy Act applies to the matter and you remain dissatisfied, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Other rights available under applicable law are not limited by this policy.
